Loukia Tsami is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst with over a decade of experience in autism and developmental disabilities research and practice. She serves as Research Associate and Manager of the Vocational Clinic at the University of Houston Clear Lake's Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, where she coordinates federally funded research on behavioral assessments using telehealth for children with autism. As Director and Founder of the Telehealth ABA World Project, Tsami has pioneered the global delivery of behavioral services, providing free training and support to families and professionals in underserved communities across Africa, Asia, Europe, and beyond. Her innovative work has extended evidence-based autism interventions to over 30 countries through telehealth platforms. Tsami holds a Master's degree in Psychology from Northcentral University and has completed specialized training in Leadership Education in Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities at UT Health Science Center. Her research has been published in leading journals, including the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavior Modification, focusing on parent training and international delivery of services via telehealth for behavioral interventions. The recent years, she has been involved in policy development in both the US and other countries. She has delivered hundreds of presentations worldwide, training healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers in evidence-based autism interventions. Tsami is also actively involved in improving healthcare access for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including collaborative work with Baylor College of Medicine on dental care interventions. Fluent in Greek and English with basic French proficiency, Tsami continues to support families and professionals through her commitment to making quality behavioral interventions accessible globally.
